Physiology Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor or Professor to join our faculty at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and directing cardiovascular physiology in our systems-based medical curriculum, as well as serving as Chair of the Physiology and Biophysics discipline.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach physiology in the systems-based medical curriculum, with emphasis on cardiovascular physiology.
- Work closely with basic scientists and clinicians to develop an integrated medical curriculum.
- Lead and direct the integrated cardiovascular, pulmonary, and renal course.
- Supervise and mentor medical students in a variety of learning activities.
- Oversee the teaching of physiology in graduate and biomedical science programs.
- PhD in physiology or a closely related field.
- Experience in teaching medical physiology at a graduate level.
- Experience in team-based learning approaches to instruction.
- Experience in the administration of courses and management of faculty.
- Leadership and/or mentoring experience.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular physiology.
- Experience in Medical Education Curriculum development.
- Experience with innovative educational teaching methods to enhance learning in large and small groups and case-based learning.
- Use of evidence-based pedagogy.
