About the Role:

As a Senior Construction Project Manager at KBR, you will be responsible for the daily field construction of individual projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, and requirements. This includes supervising and directing daily field activities, subcontractor direction, and code/specification compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical input for schedule creation, subcontracting strategy, and quality of construction.
  • Day-to-day contact and communication with clients, customers, contractors, and project team members.
  • Responsible for all phases of planning and execution on small and large projects.
  • Working with clients with high demands on quality, safety, process, and accountability.
  • Interface between engineering group and business team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably with experience in construction, estimating, and bid process, scheduling.
  • Understanding and management of safety, quality, and schedules.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in daily tasks.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets, and applications.

Physical Qualifications:

Work is located at an active work site and requires the following activities:

  • Extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces.
  • Some lifting may be required, up to 20lbs.
  • Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
  • Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task.
