Job Summary

OPEX Corporation is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Warehouse Automation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, ensuring seamless production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment
  • Install and set up new equipment, ensuring efficient integration into our warehouse operations
  • Interact with customers to determine issues and provide timely solutions
  • Complete field service reports, providing detailed documentation of work performed
  • Communicate with management and other personnel to analyze and correct equipment performance issues
  • Submit weekly online timecards and expense reports, ensuring accurate tracking of work hours and expenses
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on job experience
  • Ability to work overtime when required, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Word, Excel, and Windows OS
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional support to our customers
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle, ensuring safe and efficient travel to job sites
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds independently, with frequent standing and walking throughout the workday
  • Ability to maneuver in and around equipment, including small spaces, with a focus on safety and efficiency
Physical/Work Environment
  • Warehouse environment, with exposure to heavy machinery and equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy machine parts, with a focus on safety and ergonomics
  • Ability to maneuver in and around equipment, including small spaces, with a focus on safety and efficiency
