Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards
• Answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
• Record transactions in the MICROS system and process payments accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of related work experience in the food and beverage industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
