Residential Monitor

The Residential Monitor is a key member of our team at Turning Point of Central California, Inc. This role is responsible for the supervision, management, and monitoring of residents in the Belgravia Center.
Essential Job Responsibilities- Provide supervision and monitoring of residents to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Ensure residents and visitors comply with all program policies and schedules.
- Document resident behavior, incidents, and policy violations in accordance with contract requirements.
- Perform security checks, including walking the perimeter, monitoring the grounds, and documenting rounds, counts, and room inspections.
- Conduct pat-down searches of residents and respond to incoming telephone calls and visitors or residents at the door/gate.
- Report and document resident behavioral incidents and/or violations of program policies.
- Perform filing and other general office duties, including urine specimen collection and processing.
- Respond quickly and efficiently in emergencies and possess a valid driver's license with access to a dependable means of transportation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of monitor experience or 48 units of completed coursework from an accredited college or two years of work experience working with justice-involved adults or in a related field.
- Current certified training in emergency first aid, preferred.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom, and other communication/meeting platforms.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and TB test.
- Pay Range: Class 100 ($20.63/hour)
