About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to patient assessment, prioritization, and outcome evaluation
  • Execute scrub and circulating duties in the Operating Room, ensuring optimal patient care
  • Assist with GI Lab procedures, demonstrating versatility in providing comprehensive nursing care
  • Develop and document a detailed plan of care in the patient's medical record, tailored to the surgical context
  • Verify transcription of physician's orders and ensure accurate documentation in the inpatient medical record
  • Communicate pertinent patient data to the surgical team, contributing to a collaborative and effective surgical environment
  • Administer medications and Intravenous (IV) therapies, monitoring and documenting patient responses
  • Operate specialized equipment in the OR, including defibrillators, EKG machines, and cardiac monitors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and current registration as an operating room nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in an operating room setting
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
