Position Overview
AECOM is currently seeking a qualified CEI Senior Project Engineer to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic certification.
- Achieve CTQP Quality Control Manager certification (attendance and examination required).
- Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Oversee a complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.
- Plan and organize the work of subordinate staff members.
- Develop and review policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
- Ensure programs comply with Department standards.
- Perform complex duties with minimal supervision, utilizing advanced engineering techniques and knowledge.
- Lead a team of engineers and professional support staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to project nature.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six years of engineering experience, with two years in relevant transportation projects.
- A Master's degree in engineering may substitute for one year of experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida.
