Job Summary
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at CEIS PLLC, dba Rethink, is responsible for providing outpatient and partial hospitalization care to patients and families. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating patients' mental health through various methods;
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans with other healthcare professionals;
- Prescribing and managing medications;
- Offering psychotherapy services;
- Determining appropriate levels of care, particularly for eating disorder treatment;
- Collaborating with a diverse healthcare team to assess and adjust treatment plans;
- Maintaining accurate patient records;
- Staying informed about the latest practices in child psychiatry, particularly in eating disorder diagnosis and treatment;
- Communicating with families to educate them about their child's condition.
Requirements
- MD or DO with completed Psychiatry residency;
- Board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry;
- Active state medical license;
- Strong expertise in child psychiatry;
- Passion for easing the challenges posed by eating disorders.
