Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERP Technical Lead to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the support and maintenance of our ERP system, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and direction for the ERP system, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions to business problems, leveraging expertise in multiple disciplines.
  • Support and administer the ERP application, including monitoring, cycling, and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc queries and reports, as well as create new integrations and maintain existing ones with other systems.
  • Pursue opportunities to automate manual or antiquated processes, utilizing best practices and leveraging expertise in system integration and automation.
  • Provide guidance, insight, and recommendations around Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement stored procedures, objects, and functions using PL/SQL, and create and maintain knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization, facilitating code review, promotion, and version control.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the Enterprise Applications team, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Seven to ten years of related experience, with a strong background in ERP systems, system integration, and automation.
  • Experience in Higher Education a plus, with a deep understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in Higher Education.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in IT project management, with experience in managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Working Conditions

This is a routine office environment, with a sitting or standing position for most of the time. Some stooping, lifting, or carrying objects of light weight may be required. Use of video display terminal is necessary. Location: Onsite/Hybrid/Remote.
