Job Title: Certified Medication Aide Specialist

Job Overview:
Midwest Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with medication administration.

About the Role:
This is a part-time day shift position, working weekends. The successful candidate will have a valid CMA certification and be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. You will also need to have basic computer skills and be able to work beyond normal working hours when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
* Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse and Director of Nursing Services.
* Comply with facility policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and personnel guidelines.
* Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator/DON or Nurse Manager on Call.
* Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with respect and dignity.
* Maintain confidentiality of all resident and family information.
* Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to medication administration.

Requirements:
* Valid CMA certification in good standing with the State.
* Valid CPR certification.
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
* Willingness to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (based on location and experience).
