Job Summary:
Ferguson Enterprises, a leading distributor of residential and commercial products, is seeking an experienced Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our In-House Delivery & Installation Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and install basic gas and electric household appliances, such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure installed appliances are damage-free, accurately installed according to manufacturer's specifications, and fully functioning.
- Interact expertly and courteously with builders, designers, and on-site customers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Attend company-paid installation training seminars and certifications to stay up-to-date on product changes.
- Perform driver duties and responsibilities, including pre-employment drug and background screening.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience with Appliance Delivery and Installation Service preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pound objects with the use of lifting equipment.
- Valid state-issued license required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card.
- Mechanical skills and willingness to learn, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
