Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to interventional radiology, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, including explaining procedures and obtaining informed consent
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, including disposing of biohazardous waste and cleaning equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in interventional radiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and have a valid state license to practice as a radiologic technologist.
