Special Procedures Tech - Interventional Radiology

Larry White Associates is seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Tech - Interventional Radiology to join their team in the Charleston, SC area. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of medical professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, perform procedures for the direct results of interpretation.
  • Assist radiologists on procedures as needed and supervise student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.
  • 2 years of work experience as an Imaging Technologist or 6 months of demonstrated clinical work experience as a Special Procedures/Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
  • Preferred completion of an accredited Vascular Interventional Radiology Program and ARRT registered in VI Radiology.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and teach Special Procedures exams to produce satisfactory diagnostic films for interpretation.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards and regulations.
