**Job Summary**

B.C. Tree Fruits Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with our Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Adhere to all pertinent SSOPs, cleaning schedules, and Food Safety requirements as outlined in our Food Safety program and training

* Ensure all activities are recorded on Janitorial Logs in a detailed and truthful manner

* Perform detailed cleaning activities as required

* Adhere to all pertinent Food Safe procedures as required and detailed under our Food Safety program and training

* Provide guidance and assistance using proper cleaning procedures in the event of an unforeseen food safety incident

* Other duties as assigned by Management within the context of custodial and first aid

**Requirements:**

* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with fellow employees and Management

* Must be comfortable working around moving equipment, in water, in cramped or confined spaces, with diluted cleaning chemicals, or at heights such as ladder work or on scissor lifts

* Be able to work with or without direct supervision, individually or part of a team

* Well organized with the ability to maintain and keep clear, detailed records with legible handwriting

* Proven diligence in following all WSBC and Cooperative work safe policies and procedures

* Be physically capable to perform all duties as required, including heavy labor and sustained strenuous physical activity

* Must be reliable and maintain above-average attendance

* Must be able to perform tasks to the required standards

* Able to work all shifts, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, as required
