Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Hiram, Georgia. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective care to patients by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and scanners
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure proper patient safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality imaging results
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program
  • ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients
