About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing millwright operations, logistics, and customer relations. As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing project efficiencies, and driving profitability. You will also play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring timely delivery of products and services, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Plan, organize, direct, and run daily operations to optimize resource utilization and create a productive work environment;">
  • Prospect new business opportunities and develop project efficiencies to improve profitability;">
  • Manage customer relations in accordance with company philosophies, focusing on manufacturing opportunities supporting sales and marketing efforts;">
  • Seek product sales of parts and products related to grain dryers, grain elevators, feed mills, or other related operations;">
  • Oversee inventory management to minimize loss, facilitate orderly purchases, and ensure product/supply accuracy;">
  • Develop and execute plans for physical plant and operational improvements;">
  • Manage customer complaints related to the millwright's division, working collaboratively with other support teams to resolve issues;">
  • Recruit, manage, and develop millwright, delivery, and office staff; and">
  • Build and maintain a Safe Work environment and foster a strong Safety Culture.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's Degree or 5 years' experience in the feed industry;">
  • 5 or more years of supervisory experience in a millwright environment;">
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;">
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of employees;">
  • Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the industry;">
  • Proficient computer skills; and">
  • Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.">

Estimate Salary Range

">

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location

">

This role is based in Stewart, MN or New Richmond, WI, with regular travel to customer sites required.
