About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Surgical Team Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with experience in operating room settings. You will be responsible for assisting surgeons during procedures, preparing patients for surgery, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Additionally, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field

  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
  • First Assist Certification
