Overview

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team at our Portsmouth, NH location. As an integral part of our overnight shifts, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional care to our hospitalized and ICU patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, urgent care cases, oncology patients, and those requiring ophthalmologic attention.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Utilize expertise to collect samples, administer medications, and calculate dosages to ensure our patients receive the best treatment possible.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor.
  • Empathetic Communication: Educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.
Work Schedule
  • Three 12-hour shifts; 7p – 7a
  • Rotating weekends
Compensation and Benefits
  • $20 - $35 hourly wage pending skills assessment leveling & credentialing
  • 15% overnight pay differential
  • Even higher for VTS
  • Up to $2000 sign on bonus paid out after 90 days of employment
