Exceptional Veterinary ICU Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary ICU Technician to join our dynamic team at Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH.

About the Role:

As an integral part of our overnight shifts, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, Urgent Care cases, oncology patients, and those requiring ophthalmologic attention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive care to patients, including collecting samples, administering medications, and calculating dosages.
  • Triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor.
  • Educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements:
  • Confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to enhance your skill set and contribute to the operation of the entire hospital.
