Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Stability Direct. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from infants to adults. Your expertise will be essential in administering various forms of respiratory therapy, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust therapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of New Jersey.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an inpatient setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and computerized documentation systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
