Job Title: Cyber Security Project Manager

Basecamp Consulting and Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team. As a Cyber Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects at a high level, ensuring the day-to-day objectives are being met, and delivering results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members.
  • Manage the upkeep of Authorizations to Operate (ATOs), and assign to Engineers for Assessments.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including the Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP), System Security Plan (SSP), Concept of Operation (CONOP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
  • Experience with NIST, FIPS, FISMA, FEDRAMP and RMF.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project team members, and leadership to provide project updates, status reports, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure alignment and coordination among project stakeholders and team members.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations to optimize project outcomes and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead project meetings, workshops, and reviews to drive engagement, foster collaboration, and promote accountability.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices for future projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in software development projects.
  • Candidates with active Clearance (MBI preferred) are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • PMP Certified
  • IAT III Certified (CASP, CISSP, CISM etc.)

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and make timely and informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Microsoft Project.
