Restaurant Operations Manager

The Arkansas Government Job is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a park food service facility. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily supervision to food service staff, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
- Inspect the facility for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs, and coordinate requests for repairs.
- Establish and justify the restaurant budget, authorizing expenditures and monitoring spending.
- Conduct menu planning, assist in food preparation, and oversee temperature control, portion control, and food rotation.
- Manage inventory, checking storage procedures, rotating supplies, and altering menus to reduce food waste.
- Meet with special groups or other departments to coordinate activities or accommodations, handle customer complaints, and offer special assistance.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus five years of experience in restaurant management or a related field, including two years of supervision experience. Additional requirements may be substituted for basic requirements upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
