Job Overview

RPh on the Go is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead our pharmacy team in Mena, Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and regulatory compliance
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and pharmacy operations
  • Medication Management
    • Review and interpret physician orders, verify prescriptions, and identify therapeutic incompatibilities
    • Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
  • Patient Care
    • Counsel patients on medication use and provide specialized services for conditions like diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure
    • Educate patients on potential drug interactions
  • Compliance and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure medications are labeled and stored properly
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
  • Coordination and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
    • Assist in coordinating pharmacy practices with other healthcare departments
Requirements
  • Arkansas Pharmacist License: Clear and active
  • 2+ Years of Experience: Required
  • RX30 Experience: A plus
