About the Role

Niagara Bottling is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers and ensure the reliable and safe operation of production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency
  • Monitor and oversee the work of maintenance workers to ensure tasks are completed safely and effectively
  • Assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures
  • Oversee the activities of outside contractors performing installations and projects at the facility
  • Interface with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met
  • Hire, train, and coach maintenance workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively
  • Oversee safety team activities and monitor and enforce safety requirements
  • Build a positive work environment and promote a culture of safety and excellence

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a maintenance or production operations role
  • Proven track record of successfully leading maintenance teams and improving equipment efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in a maintenance or production operations role
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or business administration
