Compensation:

$85,000 – $110,000 based on qualifications and experience

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be a proactive and enthusiastic Fund Accounting Specialist, integral to the financial oversight, fund management, and investor communications across diverse fund formats. This position allows for direct engagement with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and leading private fund managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management, financial forecasting, fund credit arrangements, and compliance with borrowing regulations
  • Collaborate with external fund administrators to ensure precise and timely delivery of NAV-related documentation, such as financial statements and investor communications
  • Develop detailed financial analyses and reports for fund leadership
  • Assist in portfolio valuation processes and work alongside audit and tax specialists during year-end financial reporting
  • Manage expense oversight by maintaining vendor relationships, processing payments, and ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Calculate and present performance indicators, including IRRs and investment multiples, and prepare regular updates for investors
  • Identify and execute enhancements to internal controls and quality assurance measures
  • Analyze partnership agreements and legal documentation, aiding in portfolio monitoring and investor onboarding, including the management of the investor portal
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in fund accounting, preferably within the credit or private equity sectors
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with senior management and business stakeholders
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is mandatory
  • CPA designation is preferred but not essential
