Job Title: Carpenter Foreman

Ceco Concrete Construction is a leading provider of concrete subcontracting services, with over 100 years of experience serving the commercial construction market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise work activities and collaborate with Carpenters as assigned.
  • Assist in planning work schedules, determining workforce needs, material quality, construction equipment requirements, and crew training needs.
  • Perform primary and routine job duties of the position.
  • Plan, coordinate, and delegate work to crew.
  • Signal cranes and direct concrete placement.
  • Handle vibrating situations and inspect work to ensure conformance with specifications.

Working Conditions:

Work may be performed in inclement weather, exposing the individual to extreme cold and heat, noise, and dust from construction operations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to exert heavy physical effort and frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with a minimum of three years of formwork/concrete construction experience supporting similar responsibilities at meets or exceeds performance expectations are preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
