Requirements

To be successful as a Healthcare Support Specialist, you must have:

  • A Medical Assistant Certificate issued by an accredited institution or one year of experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, MSDS, and strong venipuncture skills.
  • Data entry abilities and strong computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, customer service focus, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a certified medical assistant, bilingual in English/Spanish, and ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds are preferred.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
