Job Title: Health Services Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Services Assistant to join our team at Carlsbad Unified School District. As a Health Services Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the health office, including maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Screen students for illnesses and injuries, and provide basic first aid as needed.
  • Assist with health screenings, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings.
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Maintain a clean and organized health office, including restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in a health-related field or office setting preferred.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
