Job Title: Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

APPS of Seattle is seeking a skilled Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team in Sequim/Port Angeles/Port Townsend areas. As a Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for conducting quality exams on behalf of insurance companies, utilizing your medical expertise and knowledge to ensure accurate and confidential results.

Job Summary:

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual who can work with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting exams on a mobile basis in the home or office of clients, which may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12-lead EKGs.
  • Following all compliance policies, safety policies, and procedures while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in gathering client information.
  • Working independently to complete exams, with the ability to set your own schedule and work 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
Responsibilities:

As a Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting exams and collecting medical information from clients.
  • Using tablets and other equipment to complete exams and document results.
  • Following all company policies and procedures to ensure accurate and confidential results.
  • Working with minimal supervision to complete exams and meet deadlines.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
  • Familiarity with tablets and computers.
  • Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
  • EKG experience is preferred but not required.
  • A reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's license and auto insurance.

Education preferred: High school diploma or equivalency. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
