Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise nursing staff to ensure comprehensive resident care
  • Develop and implement care plans in accordance with relevant regulations and Fairhaven policies
  • Conduct resident assessments and work with physicians to ensure accurate and effective care
  • Oversee the processing of orders and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Perform evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
  • Participate in survey inspections and maintain best practice standards
  • Supervise and assign duties to nursing staff in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN/LPN license in the state of Illinois
  • Current CPR registration
  • Knowledge of the geriatric population and life community settings
  • Working knowledge of policy and procedure book
  • Knowledge of Illinois Administrative Code
  • Knowledge of EHR (Electronic Health Records) or willingness/ability to learn
Working Conditions

This position is primarily based in our main building in healthcare areas. You will work in a team environment, multitasking and adapting to a quickly changing environment. You must be able to wear a Fairhaven-approved uniform and be exposed to typical healthcare facility conditions.
