Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Plant Controller to oversee financial operations within the manufacturing sector. The Plant Controller will play a crucial role in managing all financial, accounting, and cost-related activities of the facility. This position will serve as a strategic partner to the management team, offering financial insights and guidance to facilitate informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial functions of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.
  • Monitor plant assets, revenues, and expenditures to achieve financial objectives.
  • Apply Lean Accounting and Six Sigma principles to improve financial performance and operational processes.
  • Establish and oversee cost accounting systems and procedures, ensuring precise product costing and inventory assessment.
  • Lead the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, delivering comprehensive analysis of plant performance.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Oversee material management to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Work alongside the management team on capital expenditure projects, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Implement and manage SAP systems to enhance financial reporting and oversight.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • CPA or CMA certification is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a plant controller or similar capacity within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial management principles.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with Lean Accounting and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficient in SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to enhance financial performance and make strategic decisions based on financial data.
