Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in the development of students by conducting comprehensive assessments, designing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' sensory-motor development and functional abilities.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide direct intervention services to address areas of concern and promote skill development.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring that therapeutic goals align with students' academic and developmental objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, speech therapists, and school administrators, to support students' overall growth and success.
  • Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy, and incorporate innovative strategies into your therapeutic approach.
  • Advocate for the needs of students with disabilities and promote a culture of inclusion and accessibility within the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
