Clinical Speech Specialist Job Opening
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech Specialist to join our team at Max Well Therapy. As a Clinical Speech Specialist, you will work closely with our Physical and Occupational Therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing skills using standardized assessments and tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient needs and goals
- Collaborate with other therapists to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate treatment sessions
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress notes and outcome measures
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on effective communication strategies and techniques
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC or CFY certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- At least 2 years of experience working with pediatrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
