Our Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our properties. This part-time role (25 hours per week) will provide support across various locations in the Milwaukee area, including alternating on-call duties for urgent situations.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Executing corrective maintenance by addressing work requests
  • Assisting with apartment preparations, including painting, cleaning, appliance replacement, plumbing and electrical tasks as feasible, vendor coordination, and drywall repairs
  • Providing assistance with snow removal as necessary
  • Conducting preventative maintenance
  • Responding to emergency maintenance needs
  • Managing inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, prospective tenants, vendors, and colleagues
  • Supporting external contractors when their services are needed
  • Contributing to property cleanliness and safety by helping with trash collection

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of full-time maintenance experience
  • Licenses: A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are mandatory. Travel to various job sites is required.
