Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients, including medication counseling and education.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy, including inventory management and financial optimization.
  • Engage with patients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized care and services.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, technologies, and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
