Overhead Line Project Engineer

Olsson is seeking a highly skilled Overhead Line Project Engineer to join our Utility Transmission and Distribution team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and implementation of power delivery projects, primarily in overhead distribution lines and systems.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of power delivery projects, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to manage project deliverables.
- Oversee junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
- Advise on constructability of designed projects.
- Attend site and pre-construction meetings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Must be a registered professional engineer.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in power delivery engineering, or related.
- Proficient in PLS – CADD and/or O-Calc preferred.
- Experience in overhead line construction observation.
