Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established medical treatment protocols and response procedures
  • Operate Company vehicles in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local street layouts and number systems
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance tasks
  • Complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other responders
Requirements
  • State of North Carolina EMT-B and National Registry EMT-B Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 1 year of EMT experience (preferred)
Working Conditions

As an EMT with Reliance Medical Transport, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be exposed to moderate noise levels and may work in poorly lit environments. You must be able to lift over 250 pounds with assistance and wear a face mask or respirator for extended periods.
