Job Summary

The Clinical Care Specialist will work under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in a clinical setting, providing direct patient care and communicating effectively with a multi-disciplinary team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct patient care in a variety of specialties, including hospital, home health, and hospice care
  • Communicating effectively with doctors and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintaining certifications and licensure relevant to the designated clinical practice setting
  • Triage and verify medical information to provide accurate assessments and recommendations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Single State Nursing License in North Carolina or Virginia
