Job Summary

We are seeking a Supportive Care Specialist to join our team at Titan Placement Group. This role will involve providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, enabling them to develop life skills and participate in community activities.

About the Role

  • The successful candidate will work with clients in center-based and non-center-based settings, implementing individual support plans and facilitating their access to community resources.
  • Key responsibilities include providing systematic training in social, behavioral, personal care, communication, leisure/recreation, and community living skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to complete daily documentation for service delivery, interventions, client observations, medication assistance, and other required tasks.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of $16.54 - $18.00+ per hour, with higher rates offered to experienced candidates.
  • Paid time off: 38 days total (vacation: 12 days, sick time: 12 days, holidays: 11 days, 3 floating holidays).

  • Retirement benefits through the Virginia State Retirement and 457 Plan.
  • A schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening and weekend times assigned for community engagement activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of experience in a human services field preferred.
  • Valid Virginia driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Knowledge of the characteristics of intellectual disabilities, autism, aging, epilepsy, cerebral palsy.
