We are currently in search of a meticulous and driven Construction Accounting Clerk to enhance our finance department.



Job Overview:

In the role of Construction Accounting Clerk, you will oversee and uphold precise financial documentation pertinent to our construction endeavors. You will collaborate closely with project leaders, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee prompt and precise financial reporting.



Key Duties:
  • Manage and monitor project-related invoices, purchase orders, and expenditures.
  • Assist in formulating project budgets and forecasts.
  • Reconcile project accounts and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure accurate financial documentation and adherence to company regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for assessment.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Work with project managers and suppliers to address any financial inconsistencies.
  • Facilitate audit procedures by supplying necessary documentation and reports.


Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Timberline) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with financial practices in the construction industry is advantageous.
