The Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing relaxation or treating body pain and discomfort through physical touch and movement of a client's muscles.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Therapeutic Massage Services
- Meet with clients to determine the type of massage they need
- Create a relaxing ambiance in the massage room
- Ensure a Professional Environment
- Meet with clients to learn their needs, issues, and concerns prior to the session
- Allow ample time for clients to undress and prepare for the massage
- Maintain Accurate Records
- Keep accurate records and documents each session on client information sheets
- Communicate Effectively
- Communicate scheduling needs and conflicts with appropriate personnel
- Ensure there are no conflicts with other therapists or doctors
- Maintain Equipment and Supplies
- Maintain massage equipment, supplies, and massage room
- Clean the massage table, replace linens, and other supplies as needed
- Notify personnel when supplies run low and need to be reordered
- 500 hours at an AMTA or ABMP approved massage therapy school
- CPR/AED certification
$23-$25 hourly wage
