As a Vision Center Manager L3 at Walmart, you will be responsible for leading the vision center team to drive sales and provide exceptional customer service. You will oversee the implementation of community outreach programs, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and provide supervision and development opportunities for associates.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales in the vision center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and proper inventory levels.
- Model and enforce customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs are successfully resolved.
- Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing safety controls, and directing associates.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
- Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting products, and maintaining optical equipment.
- Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, and suggesting resolutions.
- Coordinate and complete job-related activities and assignments by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and demonstrating adaptability.
- Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience or 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
