Medical Technologist - Cytotechnologist Opportunity

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in screening gynecological cytology specimens and rendering an appropriate diagnosis.

Responsibilities:
  • Screen gynecological cytology specimens and triage abnormal cases to pathologists
  • Pre-screen non-gynecologic cytology cases for pathologist review
  • Participate in quality control initiatives and assist with laboratory functions
  • Complete screening and computer entry of diagnosis for gynecological and non-gynecological cases
  • Contribute to the education of others and continue own education
Requirements:
  • ASCP-Cytologist (ASCP-CT) or Specialist in Cytology-ASCP (SCT) certification
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of work experience above the minimum qualification
  • Less than 1 year of experience
