Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team on the day shift. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications and perform various patient tests within the scope of practice
  • Promote patients' independence by establishing goals and teaching self-care skills

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas or compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital Med/Surg unit; orthopedics and telemetry experience highly desirable
