Radiologic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Beebe Healthcare. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services, providing technical expertise, and leading a team of radiographers.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in the Radiology department.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to radiographers, including modifying exam protocols and distributing changes to the team.
- Create and maintain team schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
- Assure compliance with regulatory agencies, such as the Joint Commission and the American College of Radiology.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Train and mentor new and current team members, ensuring they meet departmental standards and competencies.
- Participate in the interview process and provide feedback on candidates.
- Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including surgical and portable examinations.
- Administer contrast media and obtain patient history and clinical data for correlation with radiographs.
- Provide radiation protection to patients, staff, and self, according to prescribed safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Current certification in radiography (CRT) or registered technologist (RT) required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
