**Job Overview**

Mary Lee Foundation is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support individuals with disabilities.

**About the Role**

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy programs, working closely with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Therapists to ensure comprehensive care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to patients with varying diagnoses, including IDD, brain injury, stroke, CP, cognitive impairment, ADL dysfunction, and autism.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient goals, needs, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including OTs, PTs, STs, case managers, and direct care staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including daily notes and progress reports.
  • Provide training and education to patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and protocols for functional skills, ADL participation, mobility, and more.

**Requirements**

  • Certified or Licensed by the Texas State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program approved by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in an adult population or experience working with adults who have disabilities.
  • Effective time management, organizational, and communication skills.

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
