Key Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist Role Summary:

Deliver physical therapy and related services to patients while fostering positive interactions with facilities and clients, adhering to the principles and practices of physical therapy in line with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines.

Ensure high-quality patient care through screening and evaluation, developing initial and ongoing treatment plans, discharge planning, supervising assistants and rehab technicians, and managing cases.

Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation's dedication to quality service in all client interactions, maintaining positive relationships with facilities and clients.

Comply with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enhance patient functionality and skills through the provision, direction, and oversight of physical therapy
- Offer consultation and clinical supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).

Supervise PTAs and rehab technicians in skilled tasks during both group and individual treatments, promoting efficient resource utilization and facilitating ongoing clinical skill development in accordance with State Practice Acts, Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA), and Reliant Rehabilitation policies.

- Develop a robust physical therapy program

- Advance clinical expertise and management skills through collaboration with managers, therapists, and other professionals, self-study, and continuing education activities.

- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about relevant issues in the physical therapy profession and healthcare environment.

- Understand various payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines, as well as clinically appropriate delivery methods.

- Provide quality care with reasonable goals and outcomes within established guidelines.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
- Possess the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English for instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.

Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Graduate of an APTA accredited physical therapy program.

Computer Skills:
- Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation.

- Certificates and Licenses: Valid physical therapist state license.
