Job Summary:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical and psychosocial health status in a timely and systematic manner.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify potential barriers and variances to the plan of care.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient and family care, including education and support.
  • Monitor patients' progress against the plan of care and make adjustments as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and psychosocial health status, including vital signs and reassessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify potential barriers and variances to the plan of care.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient and family care, including education and support.
  • Monitor patients' progress against the plan of care and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a PreOp/PACU setting.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
