Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Trauma Surgeon to become a vital part of our esteemed surgical team. This role is centered around providing exceptional care in a multidisciplinary environment, focusing on Trauma, Colorectal, Surgical Critical Care, and Burn specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be board-eligible or board-certified and possess ATLS certification. Both new graduates and seasoned professionals are encouraged to apply. Fellowship training in Surgery or Critical Care is preferred, along with a demonstrated interest or experience in trauma.
- Expect to manage trauma call with a commitment to a defined number of in-house shifts each month.
- As a member of the OSF Surgical Group in Rockford, you will benefit from a robust referral network, including support from OSF Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Care physicians, OSF Cardiologists, and a well-established regional referral base.
- Our facility, OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, is a 254-bed regional medical center recognized for its quality patient-centered care. It is designated as a State of Illinois Level 1 trauma center, equipped with advanced operative technology, including two daVinci surgical robots and a hybrid surgical suite.
