Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating, reevaluating, developing, and treating medically prescribed therapy services to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains, and independence.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and in teams, making appropriate decisions based on each patient's functional needs. They will maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, and provide services at our central clinic and local areas as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and pragmatic disorders
  • Treat speech, language, and pragmatic disorders in children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an ASHA-accredited university
  • Florida SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
  • Active Medicaid number preferred
  • Ability to work with children and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
